My name is Caleb and I'm joined by Dr. Rod Rosenblatt, Scott Keith and Adam Francisco today.

We're going to do an episode on the influence of Lutheran reform on English Reformation today.

And the reason we're doing this is I actually got a listener question in about this on an email.

And then shortly after that, there was actually a pretty long debate between some English

scholars on Twitter about whether or not there was any influence.

And some people said, I don't know if there was.

And this was...

Really?

Yeah, this was kind of funny to me.

Well-respected professors over in England who just seemed ignorant of the fact if there was or wasn't any.

Well, it was such a flash in the pan, I can imagine.

Yeah, and so I thought it would be good to do this episode just to address both questions there.

And this might also turn partly into a conversation of just sort of the broader

influence of the Reformation in general and before we get into that I do have some things to say
