| 0:28.2 | confusing time, but authorities are asking everyone to stay inside at this hour. |
| 0:33.2 | Also the blackout that has been felled before me. |
| 1:04.2 | Welcome to today to all of our life churches and all of our network churches and those of you all over the world at church online. |
| 1:11.2 | Today we are in the third and final week of the series called The End, as we are looking at what the Bible says about the end of the world. |
| 1:20.2 | If you thought the last couple of weeks were creepy or scary, you haven't seen anything yet. |
| 1:28.2 | I'm going to make you a deal. If I preach hard, would you respond loud at all of our churches? |
| 1:33.2 | Would you give me a little bit of love because what we're going to do today is we're going to cover the entire book of revelation in 30 minutes or less. |
| 1:42.2 | Is that impossible? Maybe so, but we're going to try anyway. |
| 1:48.2 | All of our churches, how many of you would say that the book of revelation is intriguing, but confusing, exciting, but sometimes scary. |
| 1:58.2 | Would you raise your hands up all over the place? Everybody always says would you preach on this book because it's a little bit scary. |
| 2:06.2 | There's lots of weird stuff. There's dragons and there's beasts and there's multiple heads and there's six, six, six. |

| 2:35.2 | There's all sorts of different stuff and the challenge is so many people when they think about it or try to read it, they get scared and they get creaked out. |
| 2:47.2 | And the problem is they don't know how to read it because the very beginning of Revelation 1 says, you're blessed if you read it and you're blessed if you hear it. |
| 2:59.2 | And if you know how to read it, it will make you afraid what it will do is it will build your faith because God gives us the revelation of Jesus Christ, that's verse 1 chapter 1, and God is showing us what is to come. |
| 3:17.2 | And if you're a follower of Jesus, you should get excited about what God shows us in the revelation or the unveiling of Jesus Christ. |
| 3:29.2 | So I want to help you to read it in a way that builds your faith. |
| 3:34.2 | And so let me give you a little bit of the backstory, some of the context, and then we'll break it down in a way that I believe will help you to understand it. |
| 3:43.2 | It's written by John who was the last living of the original 12 disciples of Jesus. |
| 3:53.2 | And it's really interesting to me if you know about what happened to them after the resurrection of Jesus, Judas who betrayed Jesus took his life. |
| 4:03.2 | The other 10, besides John, actually died the death of martyrs. |
