with all the players today. We know he was close to

done around 220, but we had to make a call. So I ran back here to do the show. Mario is at fifth third.

or call in whatever the situation may be so we're sort of doing this on the fly however

it's not just Kyle Davidson Connor Bedard spoke Jeff Flashl spoke Frank Nazar spoke

Nick Curtis spoke Kevin Cortinski a bunch of Blackhawks took the podium. All that stuff is up on our

YouTube page or will be shortly. But one thing is clear. And there was one message that really

resonated throughout today's speeches from, I guess speeches, media sessions from all the players.

Everybody agrees that it is time for this team to take a step.

And while no one flat out said, we need to add things.

What they said instead was, it is up to all of us to take this summer incredibly seriously and to work our butts off and to get ourselves in a place like Connor Bidar did last summer where we are at that next level when the season begins.

And I know talk is cheap and words are meaningless until they're put into action.

But if we're taking these guys from what they said, the feeling is there.

They're ready.

They're unhappy that the season ended the way it did.

A lot of the players referenced a good start to the season and how they were in playoff position for a lot of it and how they let it slip away throughout. We let it slip away. It got away from us. We learned a lot of valuable lessons, but it got away from us and we don't like that. We don't want that to happen again. I thought the strongest comment of the day came from Alex classic andic. And I want you guys to hear this first.
