Hannah, I am thrilled that we are choosing to go by the solar calendar in marking the end of summer and not the, you know, school calendar as our child-driven society has

dictated. And we're also all wearing white, even though we're after Libidus. Screw that.

I am actually wearing white today. Hallelujah. Yeah. Well, I'm very astrological. I don't know what that

means, but I just said that. Yeah. Okay. So today is one of my favorite shows, our Colin show. We're going to answer

questions from listeners, including some recorded questions, and then for a Slate Plus segment,

we'll answer an extra special question. So why don't we just jump right in and get going with a

question from a listener, Kristen? Hi, my name is Kristen, and I was calling to see if I, who am a woman, am at the gym,

and I'm using a squat machine with weights on either end of the barbell,

if a man comes up and asks me if I need help putting away the weight, is that sexist?
