We have some bad news to share with the listeners and lovers of horror movie talk slash horror movie talk plus.

I wish I was joking, but David has decided to leave the show,

and as a result, the show is going on an indefinite hiatus

after the Burbs episode coming out on October 4th.

We don't have any plans currently to publish new episodes after that.

And I'll go into more details of... currently to publish new episodes after that.

I've, and I'll go into more details of what the possible future of horror movie talk may or may not be.

But as of now, just consider it like we don't know what's going to happen and we're not going to get any episodes for the time being.

And so I'll let David explain what's going on with him and what went into the decision.

You know, I don't have anything prepared.

It's kind of weird as Bryce, as you were introing this news, I was, I was struck with how I had nothing.

Like, I didn't, I don't, like, it just my, my mind just went blank. And I was like, oh, shit.

What am I going to even say?

I, I, this, which is so, it's, it's, it's hard to explain to people how strange of a feeling that is.

After sitting on this mic for five years every fucking weekend

and you know being yes and and laughing and um it's a very strange feeling to to to walk up to a

mic and literally have no be like i don't uh anyway uh I'm sorry go ahead yeah I mean we we recorded the

after pod last week um and then turned it off and then David you know needed to talk to me

and and just basically told me that he was done.
