And anybody who's happy to go to heaven to worship such a creature is morally bankrupt.

It is because God's wrath is real that his mercy is relevant.

Unless you have a real wrath, the biblical concepts of mercy and grace are wronged with their meaning.

One of the current trends in evangelical Christianity is to possess a consumer mentality.

Church should be downright thrilled to have a guy like me as a regular attender.

We don't say member anymore.

That's another bad evangelical trend where we do not feel the necessity

to be apart a committed member, a serving committed member of a local church.

We have been encouraged by seeker sensitivity.

We've been encouraged by our consumer culture.

We've been very encouraged because of a low view of church.

So often in evangelical Christianity,

that we feel like we can just pack up our emotional backpacks and scadaddle.

Anytime we want to, isn't it true?

It's a blessing to have the internet.
