Chapter 16

In the previous chapter, Lottie was marvelling over the mild manner of her husband since arriving at San Salvatore,

and Melesh was doing his very best to make a good

impression with all the women of the house, in hopes to secure them as future clients.

And he was succeeding quite well, with Lady Caroline and Mrs. Fisher both seeing him as a gentleman, not suspecting his true motive.

After a brief spat about the food bill for the week, Melersh diplomatically resolved the situation,

and Lady Caroline agreed to pay it as a treat, after which he accompanied Mrs Fisher for her first

stroll in the garden since she had arrived. Now that you're caught up with the story so far,

let's get ourselves ready for sleep. Start by taking a deep, relaxing breath and settle your body in whatever way feels most comfortable.
