I am John Pajor, it's the editor of commentary magazine and it is that time of the year.

So I'm going to start today just by saying you're going to hear me this month asking you

pretty much on a daily basis to consider making commentary part of your annual giving.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We provide you with this podcast. For free, we do not provide you

with a subscription to the magazine or to reading our material on the website for free.

But we like all nonprofit institutions rely on the generosity of those who feel that they get some

merit and benefit from the organization to continue doing what we are doing. People have been

very generous over the years. Going to the five day week podcast two and a half years ago,

accelerated that even more, but it is very important for us to continue doing what we are doing
