So you're reading the Bible somewhere in the Gospels

and you'll come across a phrase.

Usually, a phrase of the mouth of Jesus.

And that phrase is the Son of Man,

something Jesus loves to refer to Himself as.

But it's typically not what we refer to Jesus as.

The most common word in the New Testament

and throughout Christian history to refer to Jesus

is Christ, this Messiah.

Put that fact alongside another fact.
