Tonight's bedtime story is the classic tale called The Emperor's New Clothes by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.

This tale is about two weavers who promise the Emperor a new suit of clothes.

They say the clothes are invisible to those who are incompetent.

While in reality they make no clothes at all, making everyone believe the clothes are invisible to them.

When the Emperor parades before his subjects in his new clothes, no one dares to say that they do not see any suit of clothes on him

for fear that they will be seen as inadequate and inept until a child cries out, letting everyone know

that the Emperor isn't wearing anything at all.

This episode is part storytelling and part guided relaxation.

So by the end of the story, if you're still awake, you can simply continue listening to the sound of my voice

as I guide you into a calm, relaxed state that will help you drift off peacefully into a sound and restful sleep.
