And we, what are we talking about today?

We're talking about angst.

Yeah, this is what the American mind and events to the, attempts to divine it.

Yeah, and we're talking about how we think about voters and how some pundits seem to think that they have a very special idea of what voters want.

And this was partly inspired by me because I noticed that there are a host of never Trump Republicans or never Trump conservatives who seem absolutely convinced that every Democrat is bad and that they know specifically what voters want.

Now, the id within me is thinking if you knew what voters wanted, well, we wouldn't be in this situation now, would we?

But this led me to think, you know, how exactly do we figure out what voters actually want because there's been a lot of interesting research on how voter polling is challenging because voters when you ask them questions, sometimes say things that they think that you want to hear.
