I have some sad news to report. Due to contractual issues we will not be able to

podcast the Ursula Leguin story in this month's issue. But to make up for it, we have an extra piece for you in April.

This is why this podcast is delayed because I wanted to give some time

where you weren't going through withdrawal symptoms from not listening to the podcast. This final podcast is titled The Egg Man and is by Mary

Rose and Bloom. Now Mary made her first sale in 1990 and soon became one of that decade's most prolific

contributors at short story lengths, making dozens of sales to many different magazines

and anthologies.

The Drylands won the prestigious Compton Crook Award for Best First Novel of the Year in 1993.

Her other books include the SF novels, Kimerra, The Stone Garden, and Horizons, and a short story collection, synthesis and other stories.

She has also written a trilogy of mystery novels written under the name Mary Freeman.

Rosenblum won the Sidewise Award for alternate history in 2009 for her story sacrifice.
