As you know, I play

video games and other games, in fact. I like board games. I like card games. Video games are kind of

the path of least resistance right now. And we're going to be talking about gaming culture.

It's become huge in a lot of ways. What are its roots? What are some of the games

that are influencing all of this? Why? And how is it affecting us as a society? John Gastel

will be our guest. He's a returning guest and we'll be talking about his book. It's called

Dungeon Party and it addresses these particular themes. Plus, he's done a lot of research on the topic for the book.

So we'll be talking about that tonight.

Something that's kind of cool.

I don't know how many people care or saw the, I guess the cutting down of and then the

transportation of the giant 75-foot, I think it was a Norwegian spruce tree to go to Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, in New York City, to be the official Christmas tree in New York City.

You know, how they have, they do this every year. It's a big deal.

And it was just, they showed some of it on the news the other night, I don't know, maybe a week

ago now. I'm not even sure how long ago. It wasn't that long ago. But the tree came from my

hometown of Oneonta, New York, which is about 30 miles from where I live now in Cooperstown, New York.
