Fishing and hunting puts you in a relationship to landscape that is it's unparalleled.

For conservation we so often talk about license dollars.

You know all our money goes to Habitat and Wildlife and

DNRs, but really what we bring to the table the most is we're in the

environments all the time and paying such detailed attention to all this stuff.

We're the first, you know, we're the first people to notice this stuff.

Public policy matters.

These are big intractable issues that require big government and public purpose to change

of it.

My roommate who will eat anything that I brought home for her, like mountain land, whatever.

She loves telling people who ask like what I do she

loves defending hunting she's never been right but she's lived with me for long

enough and she knows some yeah and she works in like you know fine art in New York City and she loves to talk about it and defend me and like even Hunter Ed, you know, can, is still a gateway into conservation.
