Summary

With the ‘media froth’ surrounding the economy building, bond yields spiking and interest rates set to soar, can our economy keep defying gravity?

Special guest co-pilot Nick Timothy is on hand to explain why interest rates are set to feel incredibly painful during this the Bank Of England’s 13th interest rate rise. However, Liam thinks that there is a ‘policy crunch' on the way with the political and media classes unable to leave the Bank of England and its independence alone.

Also strapping in the rocket this week is author and commentator, Dr Rakib Ehsan to discuss his new book, Beyond Grievance: What the Left Gets Wrong About Ethnic Minorities. He tells the co-pilots why he thinks there are growing tensions between the liberal cosmopolitan Left and the patriotic faith based conservatism found in many ethnic communities.
