Today we're going to talk about the earth out of course. Before we begin, I'll ask you to join me

for a word of prayer. Precious Father, we thank thee for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We thank you for your precious son who died for us.

We thank you that he was raised again for our justification

and that we have eternal life through His name.

We thank thee for the Holy Spirit that seals us and teaches us.

And we ask you now, Father, to reveal to us

those things you would have us learn that we would receive it with all readiness of mind

and search the scriptures to see whether these things are true. We ask and pray that it would

edify each one within the sound of my voice and would bring glory and honor to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We ask all this for his sake and in his name. Amen. So the earth is out of course.

We're going to talk about why humanity walks in darkness. In scripture, it says that the foundations

of the earth are out of course because the

sons of God have failed to lead mankind in a just way. These fallen angels are called out by God

in a council meeting, and God rebukes them for this deception. Today we examine why the earth is in the mess it's in,

what is coming in the way of God's judgment upon it, and how His great love for us offers a way

for us to escape the pending wrath. We begin in Psalm 82 for this meeting or counsel of God speaking to the fallen
