Well the Story Pirates take stories written by kids and we turn them into awesome sketches

and songs. Mindy, tell everybody about the awesome story we have today.

Well today's story was written by a brother and sister team. A doubles, if you will.

Jack and Melinda Hagenson. They were both six years old at the time. They go to the

Armstrong School in Westboro, Massachusetts. And they wrote a story called Garbage Truck.

But before we hear the Story Pirates proverbially stick the landing.

Oh, what did I just say? Before we hear the Story Pirates adaptation of Jack and Melinda's story,

let's hear the original story they wrote and sent into us. So Peter, take it away.

All right, here it is, Jack and Melinda's story, Garbage Truck.

Once upon a time in the future, there lived a man named Randy who had a garbage truck.

He made it into a garbage truck that spit out garbage. His neighbor Larry loved taking care

of the earth and always tried to stop him. And finally, he stopped him. Then he took it to the

repair shop. They said, I cannot fix this. You must. I can't fix this. But you must fix it.

All right, I will do it. And he did. He turned it into a regular garbage truck. Randy thought

that it was a nice idea to clean up the earth. The end. And now here's the Story Pirates adaptation

of Jack and Melinda's story, Garbage Truck. Rosebud. Oh, oh dear. I didn't realize we were live.

Just rehearsing a scene from my upcoming film. No matter. Welcome back all of you out there
