Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the Catholic Talk Show. Today we're going to be looking at famous last words from Catholic Saints.

That's right. We're going to look at the last words uttered by people like popes, saints, and martyrs.

Some of these are the most fascinating things you'll ever hear, and it gives you a glimpse into what they were thinking as they went to their eternal reward.

I got to think we're going to be running the gamut on a few different styles here, you know, going down through the ages.

I always think that it's pretty illuminating as to what and where they were when they were dying and what their views on death were.

And it's meditating on the seven last words of Christ. And we've talked about that particular devotion in other episodes. If you don't know that devotion, go out and learn it. But real quick, the seven last words of Christ, they're not seven words. They're the seven sayings, right? Words meaning like, what are your words, right? So I'll give those real quick as a preface to this before we get into the last words of Pope's Saints and Martyrs. So the first is, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do, Luke 23, 24.
