Hey, this is Annie and Samantha. And welcome to Stuff on New Retailty Production of I Heart

Radio's House of Parks. Today we're talking about dutiful daughters and dutiful children.

And this one is personal for me because I recently lost my father. And so it's going to be a

little anecdotal and a little selfish to be honest. And trigger warnings for terminal cancer

and illness, death and grief. And I also want to just say at the top one of my defense mechanisms

it's humor. So right. I might sound insensitive. I'm generally not. Generally not. As I've said on

past podcast, my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer several years ago. A couple of weeks

ago he was not doing well and he died. In fact, as I was typing up this outline, I got a text from

my mom and she hardly ever text that said, I should come home right now because he might not have

...
