Summary

The Dumb Dumb Club. We know it, we live it, we love it. However...this week is a little different. Today's episode is all about our Dumb Dumb Club moments: Sex Edition. I daresay the majority of us were raised to not only avoid sex, but to fear it a little bit. Because of this, soooo many of us had confusions about what sex what and how to talk about it. Hopefully today we break that wide open and giggle at ourselves a little bit, otherwise I might cry at how many of us didn't know we had 3 holes. Enjoy!

My name is Maddie Murphy. I am your host and today I am also your educator. Well, I shouldn't

0:34.5

I shouldn't say educator. I am your spokesperson and fellow idiot because today we are talking about

0:41.0

all of the things that confused us about sex growing up and I don't know how we haven't done

0:48.0

this topic yet. It's been at the top of my list for like probably six months because we always

0:53.9

do the dumb dumb club here which as all of you guys know by now it's you know a place where we

0:58.4

laugh about dumb things that we didn't learn until adulthood and so many of the dumb dumb club

1:03.7

submissions that I get are about sex or like sex adjacent topics. So I'm glad that we're finally

1:11.3

doing this. It's a beast and it comes with a lot of funny things and a lot of kind of a little bit

1:17.3

depressing things because none of us were educated properly. I don't know if it's generational,

1:23.6

okay, I shouldn't say none of us but I know very, very few people. I could probably count on one hand

1:31.0

who had a normal healthy view of sex their entire life and had kind of an open relationship with

1:40.3

their parents about discussing it and things like that. I don't know anybody who had that. I didn't

1:45.8

have that. So we're going to talk a little bit about purity culture and sex ed and all of that but

1:50.7

then we're going to get into the submissions that you guys sent me about things that confused you

1:54.9

about sex and I promise you I have I have one for every response like I have so many sexless

2:03.2

conceptions that I believed until I was like the old like you guys know until I was like in my mid-20s

2:09.2

some of them I didn't even learn until I was like divorced which was a year ago. So so we're going

2:15.7

get into all of those right up top though I should say not a family friendly topic. If you're

2:23.6

kids listen with you you're going to have a lot of weird conversations. So anybody who might be
