I feel bad.

I didn't say Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah enough in previous episodes because I wasn't sure when they were going to air in the timeline.

I also feel bad because you may not hear me say Merry Christmas, even though it's two days after Christmas or Happy Hanukkah or any of this,

because I don't know if we're going to be airing this podcast.

Late last night, I texted Adom, our podcast Impressario, and in Game of Thrones, we just call him Master of Podcasts, and asked him if I'm doing a solo today or is the office still dark and he very

in keeping with certain traditions of my people in the um sort of you know how does a jewish

mother change a light bulb it's all right I'll just sit here in the dark. He said,

in effect, that I'll be the only one online to do it, but if you do it, I guess I can make it

handle it. And, which is menschie of them to do, but I also made me feel very guilty.

So if Adam, you're listening and it turns out you just can't manage this,

uh, just don't do it.

Um, and I'll try to keep it on the shorter side.

Although, as you know, um, this thing is always slow to start.

Um, and then hard to finish.

Um, that's what she said. Anyway, it's Friday morning,

and it's a work day for me, but not for a lot of others. And, you know, one of the things we try

to do with this is just is serve the God of habit formation and people get in the habit of listening to these things on Saturday mornings.

I want to respect that. Also, a lot of other podcasts go dark. And so over holidays and we think that's an opportunity to attract new listeners.
