We have an awesome guest today, man. Jeff Lewenffell's. And, I mean, I don't think anybody could do a better introduction than Scotty. Scottie said he lost sleep last night, man. He's like, all right. So, you know, hit it up. Who we got here, Scott? I was excited. Jeff Lohenfels is the guy for me that introduced me to the soil food web. Jeff, first off, hello, Jeff. How are you, buddy? I'm doing great. I'm a little bit embarrassed here, but I'm doing great. No, I mean, it's cool as heck. I was saying that Jeff had the same thought that I had, which was, man, you don't have to fertilize the forest. Why don't you have to fertilize the forest, but you got to fertilize all these crops, you know, and he started looking into it. And what he found was the soil food web, which is how plants eat. And he really, I mean, you found some, some awesome people to kind of study and learn from. And I'm kind of a few years behind you, trying to follow your lead, man. But I got all your books here.

The first one's teaming with microbes, right?

And that's you and Wayne Lewis, right?

Right, right.

And that's the book that really sort of explains not so much how plants eat,

but how plants get their food, how it's,

how it's delivered to them. Yeah, it's a second book. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, how you's how it's delivered to them yeah it's a second book yeah yeah yeah how

you know it's all uh how soil is is formed and the structure of it and why it's important the system

and how food gets to the plant and it's a to me when i wrote it it was a shitchalker because I had no idea. But we can talk about that in a minute. The second book is how plants eat. Because after I wrote the first book, I said, gee, you know, okay, now I know how the food gets to the plant. Right. How does it get inside the plant? How does he get into the plant?

And what does it do once it gets in there?

Again, we're all growers and gardeners and we watch our plants grow and we just, we take it for granted.

Oh, yeah, it's just getting bigger.

Why?

What the hell is making that happen?

And so that's the second book. And it's a little bit more thicker in terms of the readability than the first book. The first book I think is it's bubble gum. You know, the second book is, you know, Nicorette. It's got a little bit stronger taste to it. I really stayed away from chemistry as much as I could.

I promised myself I wouldn't do the Klebs or the photosynthetic formulas and all that crap, you know.
