Good morning. Welcome to the Thursday edition of the DSR Daily Brief

from your host Chris Kottnor, joined by my co-host Riley Fessler. How are you today?

Pretty good. Wonderful, why don't you get us started? Mickey Haley has announced that she will vote for Donald Trump despite criticizing his policies and stating that he has not been perfect, which seems like it's putting it lightly.

Speaking at the Hudson Institute in Washington, which was her first public event since ending her presidential bid in March, the supporting allies, holding enemies accountable, securing the border, promoting capitalism and freedom, and reducing national debt.

A couple of those don't really square away with supporting Donald Trump, but I digress. While not a full endorsement,

Haley argued Trump was preferable to Biden, whom she called a catastrophe. She

criticized both parties isolationism and Biden's foreign policy advocating for military

aid to Ukraine and defending Israel.

Haley's speech highlighted her intervention is stanced and future of political intentions,

urging Trump to engage with her supporters.
