House Democratic leaders have announced that they will oppose Representative Marjorie

Taylor Green's motion to remove Speaker Mike Johnson, attributing their decision to his role

in advancing foreign aid legislation.

In a statement, Democrats Akeem Jeffries, Catherine Clark, and Pete Aguilar expressed their intent

to table the motion emphasizing that it would not succeed.

Despite internal hesitations from some members, the Democratic Caucus showed a general

inclination to prevent Johnson's ousting during a private meeting. Leadership advised members to vote according to their conscience without officially endorsing Johnson

while preparing to use procedural tactics to thwart Grains motion.

This approach appears strategically designed to avoid direct support for Johnson while maintaining legislative stability.
