So Ireland has decided to intervene

in South Africa's genocide case against Israel

at the ICJ, specifically over the situation in Gaza. It was announced by the

foreign minister Michael Martin and as an indicator of Ireland's concern over

the conflict Martin highlighted the severe violations

of international humanitarian law by Israel,
