Riley Fessler. How you doing Riley? Doing pretty well. Our other buddy Chris

Cottonware is out today I guess it's spring break and he's doing what we should be doing.

I don't know why you and I are not at the beach, Riley. But we're here, so let's go into the stories we've got. Where do you start?

Starting with a US draft resolution that has been circulated that would call for an immediate and

sustained ceasefire in Gaza.

This has come as Secretary of State Anthony Blinking,

is visiting the Middle East and is in Israel today,

and he has announced a U.S. initiative to propose a security council resolution with this language.

And this is a pretty significant policy shift from the US as it previously vetoed resolution to manning a ceasefire.

It features the strongest language yet from Washington and condemns the Hamas-led attacks on

Israel and supports efforts for the release of hostages in Gaza.

So as we've covered on this show, this is a mid-warning of imminent famine and growing international pressure for action.

So the Biden administration has certainly become more vocal on these issues and it's refreshing to see this renewed call for an immediate ceasefire and the sustained ceasefire.
