So good. Where are you starting us today, Riley?

The EU has decided to impose unprecedented sanctions on Russia's gas sector marking a significant

shift in its stance. This decision reached after overcoming opposition from Germany and

Hungary aims to block EU ports from reselling Russian liquid natural gas and restrict financing

for Russia's Arctic and Baltic LNG terminals.

Despite the sanctions not affecting the majority of Russian LNG exports,

it represents a notable step as the EU had previously left Russian gas unsanctioned even amid bans on oil and coal.
