And that silence that you just heard is where Anson normally says and I'm Asson Mount, but he's not here.

I don't know where he is. The last time I saw him

was in Toronto and he was jumping over the back fence of his house with a loaf of bread and a

pound of tea saying he was going to go live in the woods. I haven't heard from him in a while.

So until Anson gets back, we're going to do a little episode here with our friend, Bilga Abiri.

Bilga is a film critic and a dear old friend.

And when I say, old friend, I mean it in both senses of the word.

We are both old.

And we've been friends for a long time. And I wanted to have them on

today to discuss an issue that is bothering both of us a lot, which is this obsession with

opening weekend box office being some sort of indication about whether or not a movie is any good

or not. We're going to talk about

that and a few other things and basically advocate for going to the movies. Anyway, here's Bilga.

He should do the rest of the talking because he is about a million times more articulate than I am.

like you. We've talked about this. I know. This is frustrating. He loves you. We love him. Everyone
