All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of the Untitled Jeff Buck podcast.

I'm your host Jeff Buck, and today it's another in the Driven Life series,

where I'm talking to people in the racing industry and the garage about motivational topics

or self-improvement, things along those lines.

And what better person to talk to than Sherry Pollux, who if you follow any of her journey

on social media or elsewhere, she's been a very inspirational person through her battles

with ovarian cancer, a very severe form of it.

She fought through one instance that looked quite severe and it

came back. She fought that off again. She continues to take oral chemo to keep it at bay. But because of all

that, she has quite a interesting outlook on life. And so I wanted to talk to her for this podcast

and she was willing to do so.

It just so happens that today, the day this podcast is coming out, Friday, if you're listening, is her 40th birthday.

So it's a milestone for her, given all she's been through.

And it is the week before she and Martin Shirex Jr. do their annual Catwalk for a Cause, huge fundraising charity event featuring children with cancer. She was doing that, helping kids with cancer before she had cancer herself and just happened to also have to go

through that. So anyway, quite an interesting person. And I want to jump right into what she has to say

about life and perspective and positivity.
