Welcome in to another edition of This Week in UNC Baseball with head coach Scott Forbes.

I'm Tommy. Actually, that is Scott Forbes. No Grace Nugent. Again, she is a student. She's in class. We encourage that here.

Shout out the Johnny T-shirt, Johnny T-shirt.com. Coach Forbes, the weekend was an interesting one. It's an interesting series anyway when you travel and do the three locations.

But then for yesterday, the weather got progressively worse on the weekend.

And yesterday it just sort of washed y'all out.

What was the thinking there at the end?

I can say from being there.

It was extremely cold and extremely damp and

it was not baseball weather. But what happened there at the end?

Yeah, I mean, it was a heck of a game. You know, the crowd I thought was pretty dang good

considering the conditions. They weren't good. You know the our tarp from pushing all the snow

off uh it became clear we're going to have to order a new tarp we must have busted some seams

but the field was actually pretty good but it kept spitting kept spitting then when it picked up and

looked like on the radar it wasn't going to stop we had to get it on quick when it was tied 3-3 after 5, which was a shame because it obviously was going to end up being a great finish.

And then the longer we set, you know, Cliff and I just eventually started looking at like, okay, well, how long is it going to take once we pull it?

We thought we might have pulled it about 445 or 5.

It's going to take 45 minutes to get the field ready.

So talking about a 530, between 530 and 6 start, the feel-like temp had literally gone to about 29.

And then you're flirting with that's not a good temperature to start a game in. And then

an hour later it feel like it was going to be 26. So we just, you know what? We said we got to

make this with our brains, get over our egos as bad as both as both of us want to compete

and play the game. I can't believe
