5:00pm- Congressman Jeff Van Drew— United States Representative for New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his vote against the $95.3 billion foreign aid package which was signed by President Joe Biden on Wednesday. Congressman Van Drew explains that his “no” vote was not because he doesn’t support Ukraine, but because he believes there needs to be greater transparency with where exactly the money is going. He also insists the package should have included border security measures. Plus, Congressman Van Drew previews Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s upcoming rally in Wildwood, NJ on May 11th.

5:15pm- On X, women’s college basketball star Angel Reese posted on X, “protect young women in sports!!!” Reese won a national championship while playing at LSU and was recently drafted seventh overall in the WNBA draft.

5:20pm- In a New York Times editorial, Boston University law professor Jed Handelsman Shugerman writes of the ongoing “hush money” trial involving Donald Trump: “After listening to Monday’s opening statement by prosecutors, I still think the Manhattan D.A. [Alvin Bragg] has made a historic mistake.
