The night was warm and the moon was full and reality seemed to below. The air itself

warped and swayed like a sheet hung to dry and blown by a wild wind. It swam and twisted

and crinkled like a rejected love letter. Light began to link through the crunching seams

and with a sudden, slurping pop, a hole in reality opened in the air over Route 125 to
