And the the Oh, An episode with a lot of sisters, the three sisters to start, meaning the islands north of the Vale and

south of White Harbor, and the two sisters, meaning Aegons, Queens, Rainies, and Viseen,

Viseania.

Mighty though they are in war.

And we'll see some more of that along with their brother.

But today it's time to see how they are as rulers,

at least at the start of the post conquest era.

That's another way to look at this one.

Three Sisters and Three Heads of the Dragon.

Before the first Dornish war began, there was three-ish years in which the only conflicts were small and isolated, i.e. most of Westeros was at peace, and adjusting to this brave new world of world ruled by Targaryans, Aagon and his sisters.

The Dragons interim, we're calling it, simply because everything in fire and blood in this section is called the

dragon's something or other the dragon's rain the dragon's peace the dragon's wars

so why not the dragon's interim the conquest was almost easy as you probably recall, at least in terms of the battles, and in many ways those who had not fought back would be the hardest to deal with, even though many if not most of those opposed to the Iron Throne had been the difficulties of ruling a realm that has

most of those opposed to the Iron Throne had been turned to Ash

literally in many cases the difficulties of ruling a realm that has never

been ruled as one or nearly one we should say. This is all

untrodden ground. It's never been done before. It's not a simple matter of

just killing all your enemies, although Aagon had proven pretty expert at that, it's not exactly a way to

rule a realm. It's a good way to get in charge, but you have to manage what comes after that.

Many of the greatest real world conquerors were not particularly skilled at the post-conquest stuff.

So this is the brief time where Egon, Visenyne and Rainies began to prove that they were more than just

dragon riders, while making sure to continue to remind people that they were dragon riders.
