Our show normally heard nights here on Fox Sports Radio. But it was fun getting to come in today. Stretch our legs during the day. We got to go to Arby's before the show today. I was pretty excited about that. I mean, we celebrated the trade of Tanner Rourke from the other day. You know, we've really, both of us had wanted Arby's since the Tanner Roark got traded while he was in an Arby's drive-thru. We did a lot to try to get it delivered here to the Geico Fox Sports Radio Studios yesterday. You did do a lot. I did. You called Dash Door and I was calling up everybody. And all those places. Yeah, I mean, the guy down the corner, I said, what would it take for you to get in a car and find me some RVs? Wow, that's, I think he thought I meant something else. No, I think he could have called the police on you there. I don't think, I don't think that line landed the way you thought it would be. No, that's just it. I think there was a different interpretation. What would it take to get you in a car? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hang on.

Let me finish my sentence. And by Arby's, you mean what? Oh, you actually mean Arbys? Oh, like beef and cheddar. Yeah, sandwich. Oh, okay, very good. All right. And by sandwich. Yes. Good times. Yeah. So we got a lot of NFL to get to today. Got Robert Klemko coming your way in about a half hour from now to talk all the latest news in the NFL. Melvin Gordon's hold out. Ezekiel Elliott's hold out. But last night, we had real live football. Congratulations. We made it to another NFL season.

And boy, did we celebrate it? It was. We were Cadillac and like we just hit a 450-foot home

2:07.0

run, man. Let me tell you. It is the sense of the first NFL game of the year. What

2:13.1

takeaways could there possibly be, especially when starters don't start. It's the extra game.

2:34.4

But I kind of celebrate the NFL season, the beginning of at the Hall of Fame game. Like my daughter likes to celebrate sports. Like Zoe's a huge soccer fan. The LA Galaxy are her favorite team. She loves to go to games, loves to watch them, loves to see them win. But isn't consumed with, boy, oh, they get to lose this, they fall down on the standings, can they still win the MLS Cup? Can they still? What about here? She's not because she just likes the fact that they're together and they have Zlatan, and she gets to watch the games and go to the games and have fun. And if when the season ends, the season ends and something else happens. that's kind of how I feel about the beginning of the NFL season. It's like, we just can celebrate that it's back. No, that's right. We've had a long time to wait for last night. Well, but that's the problem. In the larger sense of how we lose sight of the moment that we're in, and you're looking at next, right? You could be at a concert. It can be the greatest concert you've ever been.

Or the next trip, the next day off, whatever. Like, no, enjoy the one that you're on, the next meal. You're eating lunch but talking about what you're having for dinner.
