All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of the tear down my name is jeff gluck

and along with my co-worker jordan bianke we are motorsport writers for the athletic and today we

have a memorial day hangover it was supposed to be a lovely Christmas, a motorsports Christmas.

Jordan doesn't like Christmas anyway.

So this is why.

This is why Christmas always gets ruined.

You just feel like it's a letdown.

You're going to be disappointed.

How can you not?

I mean, even, listen, is Kyle Arson disappointed this morning?

The answer is clearly.

Clearly.

Yes.

It's so, there's so many reasons why. And for me, I'm just going to this, maybe because I was there, this just jumps out to me. It felt like this kind of movie was happening last night. Like, you know, all guy are to start the car. It's a great opportunity for him. He kind of gets to a tone for 2020. And he does a really great job,

which is meticulously working his way up through the field. He's got a fast race car. He's going to give

it off to Larson. He knows this. He's a total team player. Like, cool. I just want to get him in a good

spot. He gets all the way up to 13th. Comes on the radio and says, hey, Kyle's going to get in this car,

and that dude's going to the front.

And then at the same time, this is happening, Larson's landing, you know, zips in the golf cart,

they show him on the big screen, cheers are roped.

It's like this cool thing.
