If I have to look at my clock in the lower right-hand corner of the computer today to check the date,

something's wrong.

I tell you, when I was a kid, maybe even a teenager,

a really hardcore Met fan in the mid-80s,

once we started hearing about Strawberry,

and then Gooden, Strawberry came up in 83,

then Gooden came up, then they signed Keith Hernandez, signed Gary Carter. Opening day,

1985. Gary Carter, I think, hits two home runs in the last one against Neil Allen and

extra innings, who I think Keith Hernandez was traded for, correct? Anyway, bottom line is, I remember 86, they were doing an old-timers game,

showing the 69 Mets, and for me it was ancient history.
