Hey Edy and Nick and fellow uglies, absolutely love you guys and the podcast.

I figured I could share a story with everyone that still weirds me out.

To preface the story, I love pretty much all horror movies and scary stuff.

That doesn't bring spirits into my home.

A few years ago when I was in my undergrad program, I was home alone at my apartment.

It's probably 11 30 at night and I was in my living room watching a documentary about an exorcism.

I'd gotten roughly halfway through the documentary when I reached the beginning scene of the

reenacted exorcism. Everything was fine until randomly. The volume on my TV

turned down on its own. I stood up from the recliner to get the remote off the

TV stand when the hairs on the back of my neck stood up from the recliner to get the remote off the TV stand when the hairs on the back

of my neck stood up. I turned the TV back up and sat back down when I heard a really strange

yet familiar noise. I had a leather couch at the time, as well as adjacent to the recliner. You know the strange

airy squeaky sound when you sit on a leather couch? I looked in the wrong door. I looked

in the direction of the noise thinking something slid off the couch.

Wrong.

When I looked at the couch, there was a large indent in the center of the cushion that lifted

back up as I was looking at it.

Immediately after it disappeared, something which I later discovered was my paper towel

holder fell in the kitchen. Out of nowhere I felt extremely nauseous so I jumped off the couch,

grab my purse, keys, and phone off the entry table and left.

I drove to my boyfriend's apartment, stayed the night there, and went back to my place the next day.
