Without further ado, I want to introduce you to my guest today. Dr. Yarnel,

would you tell us a little about yourself and your ministry before we dive into the subject matter

today? Yeah, thank you. Thank you for having me, Josh. I'm looking forward to our conversation.

I am a believer in Jesus Christ. At the age of seven years old, I encountered God as I was reading

the Bible, and that totally transformed my life, and I have been pursuing my relationship with the

Lord ever since then, and received a call as a young man into the ministry, knowing that I would head into teaching,

but also knowing that I needed to be anchored in the local church as a pastor.

And so I'm full-time professor of theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and I am a part-time

teaching pastor at the Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas, and five children, happily

married, four grandchildren, but don't get me started on that. I'll have to show you pictures.
