Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

This is the last night on the beach for Sandy and I.

We're just getting ready to walk down and watch the sunset and go out to supper.

It has been a glorious time. We give thanks to God.

And let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for, offering all of our

Lenten prayer and sacrifices for all the names submitted to our prayer list.

We've been learning from the great spiritual doctor of the church down of the cross,

that the purpose of life is transforming union with God, which is meant to begin in this life.

It's not reserved for after death and burglary alone.

God wants us to not only share in his life, but also to have the corresponding delight and joy of tasting it here on earth.

And I'm so proud of you for your commitment to pray the Rosary,

for it is a meditation that puts you well on the way.

But too few desire or strive after union with God,

mostly because they think it's not possible for them to achieve.

Well, John would be the first to tell you,

it is for you.

You were made for this.

Nothing less will satisfy.

And the way to reach transforming union with God is to unite your will to the will of God. Of this John writes, here we have the reason for stating that two wills become one and this one will is God's will, which also becomes yours.
