In order for reason and emotion and will to function as God wants them to function, they cannot

be left to themselves.

The only way we'll ever get an uncorrupted view of God is to go to an uncorrupted source.

And what is that?

It's the Word of God.

We're talking about the doctrine of election chosen by God, who chose

whom. And this is not without controversy as you well know. For many people, rationally it

seems unfair that God chooses who will be saved.

For other people it is emotionally hard to accept and endure that God would decide who he

would save.

To other people and maybe to the same people as the first two, it seems like some kind of

assault on free will, human choice, which many people are convinced is some kind of human

right.
