So welcome to our coverage, continuing coverage of the Karen Reed case today. I got a nice surprise in the

inbox that the Supreme Judicial Court's ruling on the appeal by Karen Reed's defense team

is coming down this morning. I've got it in front of me. I'm looking at it.

And we are going to go through it. It should be interesting. So if I remember correctly,

I think the primary thrust of this particular appeal was that we had that whole issue with

the jury, right? And wherein they basically,

they had it on good authority from several of the jurors that they had reached an actual

verdict on the second degree homicide, but that they didn't understand the instructions and that ultimately

they ended up coming out and saying, well, we're deadlocked on everything. And then you have

the situation where Judge Bev doesn't ask them, you know, count by count, if this means that

they're deadlocked on all counts.

So it's really interesting.

I'm really interested to read this.

So let's start digging through it.
