Hey, all.

So look, as you guys most, most of you know, at least if you're not new to the station or the channel,

I am a criminal defense attorney, my beautiful and brilliant wife is a criminal defense attorney.

And tonight we have a very, very, or this afternoon, actually, we have a very, very special guest.

And her name is Amanda Knox.

Her name is known worldwide.

But for those of you who may not know the full story, we want to give you some of her

background.

Amanda was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.

She grew up in a close-knit family, active in sports, curious and bright.

By 2007, she was studying at University of Washington and decided to

spend a year abroad in Perugia, Italy, a picturesque college town. Like any 21-year-old, she was

looking forward to the adventure, the language, the independence, and new friendships.

But only a few months into her stay, tragedy struck.

And on November 1st of 2007, Amanda's roommate and friend, Meredith Kircher, was brutally

murdered in their apartment.

Almost immediately, Amanda and her boyfriend at the time, Rafaelis Solicito, came suspects. After observed
