So in this episode, we're giving you a little something special.

As I did a collaboration with Breton Alice of the Prosecutors Podcast last week, and it

was all about that crazy case happening right now down in South Carolina, the people versus

Alec Murdoch.

It is an absolutely nutty case.

If you guys are not aware of what's going on, give you a real brief kind of like thumbnail

of what it's about.

So that if you're listening to the episode and you have no clue what that case is about,

you'll have some kind of clue what it's about.

If you haven't been like kind of following it, I highly recommended it.

It's been an absolutely wild case.

There's been so many twists and turns, but here's kind of the thumbnail of it.

So back in 2019, one of Alec Murdoch's sons, and again, Alec Murdoch is the defendant in

this case.

His son Paul was on a boat with a bunch of friends, and there was a terrible boat accident.

Sounds like everybody on the boat was intoxicated, and it ends up coming out that Paul Murdoch

Alec's son was driving the boat.

Now what would otherwise not be that big of a deal turned into a huge deal because as

a result of the accident, a young woman, a Mallory Beach lost her life.
