It is Tuesday, December 23rd, and I am Allison Mata, and we are here with our continuing coverage of the people of Indiana versus Richard Allen.

And for our Richard Allen appellate brief recap, you have myself and the renowned Andrea

Burckhardt, who I know needs no introduction here. So let's just bring her on. Hey, Andrea.

Hey, girl. How you doing? Pretty good, pretty good. I know we both, you know, hash through this

entire thing on our respective

channels with our respective people. And I guess now is our chance to kind of take a second look now that

we've had time to digest. Exactly. And kind of refine a little bit. I don't know about you,

but I wasn't expecting to stream for six hours with my thoughts

about the brief, but, you know, that's kind of what happens sometimes and you roll with it.

Yeah. And, you know, I always like to catch your lives because, I mean, I respect and appreciate

your opinion on things and your take on things. I know that you,

you know, you do appellate law, you know what you're talking about, but I even more so did just because

we were going to do this, so I kind of knew where you were at, but I could not get through all six

hours. I kept trying and restarting. And so I apologize if there's stuff that you said there that I'm,

you know, just not, not aware of, but, you know. I am not going to hold it against you

whatsoever. And just to kind of return the compliment, I really have enjoyed your streams

with Michael Osbrook because something that I know we have talked about before is that

there is absolutely no substitute for knowing your jurisdiction. And it's the disadvantage that all

of us who don't practice in the state are always going to have when we're looking at a case.

Anybody can look at the law and see what the law says

and figure out where to find it and so forth. But there's so much that happens in court that
