Hello, welcome to Defense Diaries.

I'm your host, Bob Mata, and we are here with our continuing coverage of the people of the state of Indiana versus Richard M. Allen, day 15, confession day, the day that the state rested their case in chief.

The state is done.

Obviously, they have the opportunity to come with a rebuttal case after the defense is done,

but all their evidence is in at this point.

And today was, I think, in their mind is going to be the home run because today was the day that they played all the recorded calls between Richard Allen and primarily with Kathy Allen, his wife, and a call with his mother, Jan.

And there were eight calls total.

Just a kind of give you the overview of the day.
