Ali, what's up girl? Hey, so we are back and this is our official coverage, our first episode of the people of the state of Indiana versus Richard Allen.

We are underway.

I'm going to give folks that may not have heard of the case,

a brief summary, just so you're caught up and know what case we're talking about.

So on February 13th of 2017, Abigail Williams and Liberty German, 13 and 14 respectfully, went hiking in Delphi, Indiana.

After a frantic search, when her father could not get a hold of them,

the following day, their bodies were discovered near the Delphi Historic Trail.

The community was devastated in a nationwide manhunt began for the perp.

Law enforcement and I believe it was 17th of what they believed the perpetrator looked like. Additionally a still photograph that was taken from a video that was taken from Libby's phone

as she had taken a snap of first Abbey on the trail or on the bridge rather and then ultimately she took a video wherein she captured a man that was on the bridge at the same time that the girls were wearing a blue what

appears to be car heart jacket blue jeans boots some kind of head covering.

Shortly after the video was released, at that point, the short audio clip was released of this eerie voice saying down the hill.

Those were released out to the public at mass. Once that happened it created national attention on the case and the case took

off from there in terms of the investigation. However, the case ends up going cold for five years.

They had multiple suspects that they looked at, including Ron Logan, whose property the girls were

discovered on on the 14th of February, a gentleman named

Kagan Klein. Both of them were ultimately cleared and the search continued and that led up until October of

2022 wherein a man named Richard Allen, the current defendant in the case was arrested.
