Isaiah chapter 62 verses 6 and 7.

On your walls of Jerusalem, I have set watchmen all the day and all the night.

They shall never be silent.

You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem

and makes it a praise in the earth.

Did you hear that language at the end of verse 6 and 7?

So starting in verse 6, we see this imagery that we've talked about before in previous episodes

on this prayer podcast as we see this picture of watchmen on the walls.

And we've talked before about how watchmen warn the people of what's coming.

But this is specifically talking about watchmen who are calling out to God for help,

calling out to God for his glory to be made known, for his protection of his people,

for his provision for his people.

And that's the picture here in verse 6.

It says, they shall never be silent.

You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, and then listen to verse 7.

And give him no rest.

Give him no rest.

Give who no rest.

It's talking about the Lord.

And we know that because of what comes next.

Give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.
