0:15.5	update in a case we covered a few months back. Ena Canoyer of North Dakota has been
0:20.7	sentenced to 25 years in prison for the fatal poisoning of her boyfriend
0:25.7	Stephen Riley Jr. The 48-year-old defendant pleaded guilty to murder charges
0:30.6	stemming from a September 2023 incident where she poisoned
0:34.8	Riley's sweet tea with antifreeze. Court documents reveal that
0:39.3	Canoyer committed the murder after learning Riley was allegedly set to inherit
0:44.0	$30 million.
0:45.6	Investigators later determined this inheritance was part of an unidentified

0:50.9	Associates of the couple reported that Riley had intended to end his decade-long

1:28.5	airlifted to a hospital where he succumbed to ethylene glycole poisoning on September 5th, 2023.
1:34.8	A subsequent investigation revealed that multiple witnesses had previously heard
1:39.1	Canoeure discuss poisoning Riley with antifreeze.
