I can't earn heaven.

I can't please God.

I can't merit salvation.

I am what I am by God's grace.

So I turn from sinful self-effort to salvation by grace through faith.

I forsake any goodness in my own flesh.

I rely totally on Christ, totally on the Holy Spirit.

I give all the glory to God.

That's a true Christian.
