The thesis of the Book of Romans is built around Romans 323 through 25 for all of sin

and comes short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through redemption that is

in Christ Jesus, whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,

to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed through the

forbearance of God.

And as you know, and we said it last week, we could spend weeks on those three verses because

they contain words like sin and justification and redemption propitiation, and remission.

All of those are highly technical terms used by Paul to describe what God has done.

If you really stop and if you're conscious of this and you listen to the media, for example,

you discover quickly that the media has a problem with God. It simply doesn't understand

what God is doing or why he is doing what he's doing. The media attempts to find fairness

and justice in the world and it never does. Often attempts to find fairness and justice in the world, and it never does.

It often attempts to set up the conditions of fairness and justice, and it never is able to do that.

The media tries to stand on the side of what it thinks is righteousness, and you know the result

of that.

In other words, people don't understand what God is doing.

And bottom line is, a lot of Christians don't understand what God is doing either.

They think that being a Christian is conforming to some legal code.
